The Edge of the Earth!

We feel so lucky to live close to the stunning East Yorkshire Coast and where better for an evening stroll across the clifftops watching the weather and the sunset.

This walk was a nice 5mile, flat(ish) wander over grassed pathways starting from the Lighthouse (which is definitely worth a visit in itself). There was nobody else on this walk, apart from a nature photographer, so you really felt like you were walking the edge of the Earth on your own!

The walk winds around the top of the many coves with their sheer drops (be careful – not one for the kids!) and rapturous seabird choruses as you peep over the edge.

Gauping at the limestone cliffs with their caves and stacks, you realise the power of nature, and the tempting turquoise waters of North Landing almost make you want to dive in!
