A superb short family stay
A wonderful stay at spring half term with our two older children. We hired a kayak and slept in the lovely comfortable beds. The showers were hot and super clean, and the kitchen area made food prep very easy as we cooked on the first night. Everything that you need is here and very close to your tent. No noise aside from animals and plenty of things to do in the area. Burton Agnes Hall was very special if you like picnics and flowers. We will certainly be returning next year and have friends already interested in booking.

When you’re ready for a break from kayaking, there are various walks/cycle routes you can take from the site, we provide some maps in reception and can advise you if you have any questions, we like to walk to Bert’s for food!…

The nearby villages of Brandesburton and Leven have numerous options for pub grub, convenience stores, butchers, delis, a fantastic lakeside restaurant called Bert’s and a handful of takeaways.
