From our family to yours, we are incredibly sad to say Kingfisher Lakes will be closed for bookings until further notice. All upcoming current bookings will be contacted individually so please bear with us.
Of course we are all in the same boat so we wish you all well in this difficult time with whatever you have got going on in your lives to deal with, and we look forward to a time in the near future when we can welcome you back!
The sun has set on a fabulous and very busy Summer here at Kingfisher Lakes, we’ve welcomed so many familiar faces back and met so many lovely new ones too! See you all next year for more of the same relaxed vibes and memory-making!
Local wildlife enthusiast and photographer Iain Poole took these stunning photos recently. We often see the Kingfishers darting passed as they fly between the lakes and tents, but they go so fast we’ve never been able to capture them in this way. Such exotic-looking, magical birds aren’t they? We’re so proud to have them here and to have named the site after them!
The ‘Tourism Oscars’ glittering event was held on Thursday 14th March at the amazing new Bonus Arena venue in Hull. Take a look at the Remarkable Winners of the various categories and more photos of the night here. What a fantastic event of celebration of all things East Yorkshire! So Proud!
The whole family were thrilled beyond words with the award, which we have called Rita (REYTA)! She will take pride of place in our office, with a special shelf being planned to house her!
After only two years running our beloved glamping and log cabin site, it’s extraordinary to be recognised by the Industry in this way. We’re so lucky to have welcomed such lovely and loyal guests to the site, who are already returning year on year to experience the magic here at Kingfisher Lakes.
Bring on the 2019 season – we can’t wait for it to begin!
