We’re still on Cloud 9 this weekend after being announced as Winners of the Remarkable East Yorkshire Tourism Awards (REYTAs) in the Self Catering Provider category!! See the winning moment here! (Warning: lots of loud whoop-whooing and excitable shaky videography work!)
The ‘Tourism Oscars’ glittering event was held on Thursday 14th March at the amazing new Bonus Arena venue in Hull. Take a look at the Remarkable Winners of the various categories and more photos of the night here. What a fantastic event of celebration of all things East Yorkshire! So Proud!
The whole family were thrilled beyond words with the award, which we have called Rita (REYTA)! She will take pride of place in our office, with a special shelf being planned to house her!
After only two years running our beloved glamping and log cabin site, it’s extraordinary to be recognised by the Industry in this way. We’re so lucky to have welcomed such lovely and loyal guests to the site, who are already returning year on year to experience the magic here at Kingfisher Lakes.

Kingfisher Lakes shortlisted in the Remarkable East Yorkshire Tourism Awards!
All the family here are over the moon chuffed to bits to be shortlisted as finalists in the prestigious REYTAs for the second year running. All the hard work was always worth it to see the smiles on our happy glamping guests when they enjoyed their stay but this is an extra special boost to us too! We will be attending the glittering awards ceremony in full force next month to celebrate with all the other wonderful nominees, GOOD LUCK TO ALL!!

Romantic Winter Weekends in Sunset Lodge Log Cabin
Why not book a cosy getaway for you and your special someone in Sunset Lodge Log Cabin at Kingfisher Lakes. You’ll have the place to yourself with a log fired hot tub on the deck looking over the lake. Disconnect with the hustle and bustle and reconnect with nature and one another here. Glamping season closes 30th September 2018
We were sad to wave the final season’s guests off last Sunday, it’s been an amazing (and very hot!) 2018 Summer season and we look forward to welcoming guests back again from Easter 2019!
Meanwhile our cosy log cabin for two people continues to be booked out almost every weekend through the winter so if you fancy a romantic getaway, stargazing from your private hot tub, have a look at our availability calendar here.
The Kingfisher team will be busy packing the tents away now for the winter, as well as harvesting our potato crop throughout early October, but we’ll be in touch with updates soon.
