What’s inside our Safari Tents?
Our two Safari Tents, ‘Hares Hideout and Swallows Snug‘ are lovely tents by the lakeside. They really do feel very homely with two separate bedrooms; one with a double bed and the second with another double bed with single bunk above.

There is a large living area with a small double futon sofa bed, as well as an amazing log-burning stove to keep you cosy, a fridge and kettle, electric lighting, and plenty of storage. All you have to do is relax straight into your hassle-free glamping trip.

Soft, cosy bedding is provided on all the beds required for the number of people in your tent. We use 13.5 Tog duvets, various soft/medium support pillows; warm brushed cotton bedding sets give you that added comfort as you climb into bed for a peaceful night. Take a look at our ‘ what to bring‘ page to see key glamping items and what you need to bring.
With a large area of decking with tables and benches and a BBQ outside your tent, you can sit and ponder the lakeside view. You can watch your family enjoying themselves or simply let nature wash over you and take it all in.
Hare’s Hideout can be used as a wheelchair accessible tent with it’s wide ramp access and it’s closest proximity to the accessible washroom which can be your private bathroom if required for a wheelchair user. Please contact Jo for more details on this and to discuss your particular requirements.
