What Shall I Pack?:
- Food & Drink – although there’s a great convenience store in the village and various nearby takeaway/eating out options available! – Bert’s lakeside bistro is a popular choice with our guests
- Toiletries & Towels (or towels can be hired from us for £5 per person)
- Eye masks/earplugs are recommended (it’s light very early in the Summer and the birdsong is loud!)
- Wellies, warm layers & waterproof jackets
- Fold up camping chairs/ picnic blankets for sitting out on the grass if you wish
- Charcoal for your BBQ
- Torch for night time loo trips!
- Bug Spray
What’s already at your tent:
- Beds with cosy duvets/pillows & bedding provided, as well as cushions/blankets
- Sofa bed/Futon (bedding provided if required for sleeping on)
- Bedside tables and storage
- Fridge with small freezer compartment; Small kettle, mugs & crockery box with cutlery
- Fairy lights & Bunting; Electric lighting/lamps
- Log-burning stove to keep you cosy (logs & eco-lighters provided at reception)
- Coat stands/ hanging rails/ hooks
- Outdoor patio tables & benches
- BBQ with utensils (you will need to provide your own charcoal)
- Modern wash block (separate ladies & gents rooms with 2 showers, 2 loos, 2 sinks in each as well as a disabled washroom with loo, sink and shower).
- Loo roll, hand soap, paper towels, hairdryer – all provided
- Covered kitchen area with gas hob burners, microwave, toasters, chopping boards, knives, saucepans, frying pans, cooking utensils, kitchen roll, sink with drainer, washing up liquid, cloths & brushes, large fridge/freezer.
- Kettle; mugs; welcome tea & coffee sachets
- Tables & benches; kids chairs and a highchair; kids crockery/cutlery
- Kayaks & Firepits for hire; (£45 for a 2-3 night stay; £65 for a 4-7 night stay)
