Looking for a getaway with friends and family but wanting your own space to stay in? The Safari Tents, Yurts and Lodges at Kingfisher Lakes are perfectly situated for you to do this. Close enough to feel like you are all on holiday together and enjoying the communal areas whilst having your own space to spread out and retreat to every night!
Safari Tents
These cosy homes away from home offer ample space and comfort for an unforgettable stay. Various size tents next door to each other with separate bedrooms to accommodate your group’s needs, including Dragonfly Dreams that can sleep up to 10 people!
Yurts & Bell Tent
Further around the lake at the other side of the kitchen barn are the Yurts (plus the Bell Tent from June-August). Ideal for couples, or smaller families within your group, these are one round space inside with a double bed and two fold-out single futon beds.
Lodges with Hot Tubs
Open all year round for your getaways, always cosy, with stunning lakeside views and wood-fired hot tubs. Perfect for those in your group preferring their own facilities as these gorgeous hideaways have their own kitchens and bathrooms!
Socialising Areas
The large kitchen barn overlooking the kayaking lake can provide a social hub for you all to gather, cook, eat, drink and enjoy toasting marshmallows on your firepits. Outdoor Catering or supermarket food deliveries are welcome!
Accommodation and Facilities
Everyone will be happy, even if they are not normally ‘campers’. As our beautiful Safari Tents and Yurts provide an extremely cosy living space with the comfiest beds and duvets! The washrooms are really nice, with underfloor heating too so there’s nothing to worry about ,many people say they’re nicer than their bathrooms at home!
Number of guests
Your group can be up to 50 people maximum across the site. There is ample parking and the main gate can be closed once you are all in so you get a real feel of privacy to relax and enjoy yourselves. For those who require their own bathroom there the en-suite lodges, which also have central heating, their own kitchens and a wood-fired hot tub on the lakeside balcony.
Group Catering
We can suggest a number of tried and tested catering providers who have catered for events here before and come highly recommended by us as a family, as well as our glamping guests. There is a large covered kitchen/dining barn, with all the cookware, crockery, mugs and utensils provided for you, as well as tea & coffee, salt & pepper, cooking oil.

Absolutely Incredible Time
Stayed here for a weekend with a group of friends – had an absolutely incredible time. The personal touches created in each tent, added luxury and comfort for each and everyone’s stay. The setting is gorgeous and you can truly switch off and thoroughly relax. The toilet block and other facilities are the best I’ve come across on a site – everything had been thought about! The hosts couldn’t do enough for us and they were extremely accommodating. I would, without doubt, recommend this site to anyone- it suits families and friends of all ages, and I will certainly be returning in the future!
