What do I need to bring?

You can bring as little or as much camping gear as you wish, such as sleeping bags, pillows, lights, cooking equipment & crockery – if you don’t have these or don’t want to be bothered packing them all you can hire anything from us when you book. We can set your tent up with duvets, pillows and bedding if you wish, click here to look at our glamping packages.

What is the toilet and shower situation?

Kingfisher Lakes has a warm and dry wash block in the middle of the site with proper flushing toilets, basins and hot water for the showers – there are even a few complimentary hairdryers and straighteners available to keep up the glamour while your glamping!

Where do I park?

Our car park is on site next to the wash block, the site is secure and your car won’t be too far away from your tent.

How far is it to get some milk?

There is a village store and also a Costcutter (open from 7am-8pm) in Brandesburton village, 1.5 miles away, you can bike or walk if you fancy it. There is a Tesco superstore in Beverley, Bridlington and Hornsea, all about 20 minutes away.

How far is it to the pub?

A short drive or 10 minute bike ride – The Dacre Arms is a popular venue for the locals of Brandesburton, it serves food all day too. There is also another pub, The White Swan, in the village.

Is there phone/wifi signal?

You should be able to get a 4G phone signal no problem but we do not currently have wifi on site.

Can I bring my dog?

No, we are sorry but we cannot accept dogs or any other pets on site because of our wildlife.

What time is Check-In/ Check-Out?

On your arrival day you are welcome anytime from 3pm. On your leaving day I’m afraid we will have to wave you off at 10am.
