Is Bedding Included?
Your tents will be set up with cosy bedding on all the beds (and sofabeds if required) ready for your arrival.
What Do I Need To Bring?
- Towels & Toiletries (however loo roll, sanitary disposal items and handwash are provided by us)
- Food and drink provisions for your stay (there are well-equipped convenience stores in the village 1.5 miles away)
- Torches are a good idea for night time trips to the loo!
- Eye-masks are recommended as the sunlight can be bright in your canvas tents
- Any camping equipment you already have such as campchairs or sunloungers may be useful for your stay
What Are The Toilet And Shower Facilities?
Kingfisher Lakes has a warm and dry wash block in the middle of the site with proper flushing toilets, basins and hot water for the showers – there are even a few complimentary hairdryers and straighteners available to keep up the glamour while your glamping! Toilet roll, sanitary disposal bags, handwash and paper towels are provided.
Where Do I Park?
Our car park is on site next to the wash block, your car won’t be too far away from your tent. We ask guests to keep the entrance gate closed as they come and go from the site to ensure more security for all residents. We also have CCTV cameras on the entrance and car park area.
How Far Is It To Get Some Food/Drink?
There is a village store and also a Costcutter (open from 7am-8pm) in Brandesburton village, 1.5 miles away, you can bike or walk if you fancy it. There is a Tesco superstore in Beverley, Bridlington and Hornsea, all about 20 minutes away. There is a fantastic bistro on the edge of Brandesburton village open all day called Bert’s for brunch, lunch, dinner with an Italian twist, they also do takeaway pizzas. The village also boasts a deli, fish & chip shop with cafe, Chinese restaurant & takeaway, as well as two pubs serving large portions of pub-grub.
It is also possible to get a Supermarket delivery to arrive at the campsite for your stay, please contact us to arrange delivery address.
Is There Phone/Wifi Signal?
You should be able to get a 4G phone signal all around the site no problem and we also have limited wifi on site near the main car park area.
Can I Bring My Dog?
No, we are sorry but we cannot accept dogs or any other pets on site because of our wildlife.
What Time Is Check-In/ Check-Out?
On your arrival day, you are welcome anytime from 3pm. On your leaving day, I’m afraid we will have to wave you off at 10am.
