Feel instantly at home at your perfect countryside escape, arrive at the reception hut for your warm welcome, we’ll show you around, point out family‑friendly games, toys, books, and even buckets and spades for beach days.
We’ll suggest some local walks, hidden gems, and must‑see spots on the map. You’ll also find leaflets for nearby attractions and a handful of local takeaway menus — because sometimes relaxing means letting someone else do the cooking!
Logs, Firelighters & Matches are all provided in reception and log store so you can help yourselves filling up the log basket for your cosy log burners and firepits.
Kitchen Barn by the Lake
Camp-cooking will be a breeze in the kitchen barn! It’s a lovely spot for a coffee with the morning sunshine pouring in and the smell of others cooking bacon wafting around.

If anyone in your group is unsure about ‘camping’, they’ll be pleasantly surprised by our washrooms. They’re warm and comfortable, with underfloor heating and eco‑friendly hot water from our lakebed ground‑source system.
Each washroom has two loos, sinks and showers, plus there’s a separate accessible washroom for wheelchair users — and a hairdryer in the ladies, too!
