We’ve been busy since January building (with the team from Northern Log Cabins) and furnishing this one and it’s next door neighbour Oak Tree Lodge (for when you want to come back with friends or family!). We hope you like the result of the input the family and team have had making these another level in terms of ‘wow’ interiors and exteriors too!
Lookout Lodge is now the biggest one just for two now here at Kingfisher Lakes with the only outdoor decking area covered over within the veranda. Out here is where you’ll find the huge wood-fired hot tub (too big for two but don’t think anyone will mind!) plus comfy seating, so whatever the weather you can be in your tub or sitting outside while protected from the rain and snow. In Summer this lodge actually remains fairly cool as it’s shielded by the veranda from any harsh midday sun; keeping the sleeping area nice and comfortable temperature-wise.
Inside there is an open-plan dining/kitchen/living area, with breakfast bar, full kitchen with everything you need. The bed area is tucked away at the back of the lodge with curtains if you wish to close them, or leave them open for jaw-dropping lakeside views as you awake. The bathroom is pretty special too with a huge double shower and double vanity area.
Logs for the hot tub are provided on site and we aim to have the freshwater tub (there’s no chemicals like chlorine used in these, so it’s basically an amazing outdoor bath!) up to a nice steamy temperature for you when you arrive so you can relax straight away in the lovely warm water overlooking the lake.
