Did you see us on TV this week?! Jo and some of our guests staying at the time were chatting to ITV Reporters about the benefit of UK Staycations, and the different booking patterns that domestic holiday destinations have to be adaptable to in order to thrive.
A group of guests here on their second Glamping stay at Kingfisher Lakes with their young children explained that holidaying in the UK is just so much easier for them than having to hit busy, chaotic Airports. They much prefer to drive, can bring everything they need in the car, including bikes, and have the freedom to stop off and feed the children along their way.
Another couple had just arrived to spend their minimoon here in Lookout Lodge and were kind enough to speak to the ITV camera 10 minutes later! They’d chosen their lakeside lodge with hot tub for a relaxing break and the East Yorkshire weather was giving them a treat too!
