Family Glamping Safari Tents
The Safari Tents have a real Wow-Factor when you walk in as the ceilings are so huge, it doesn’t really feel like you’re in a tent at all!
Kingfisher Lakes offers stress-free family glamping holidays with separate bedrooms and a living area giving you and your family space and comfort for an unforgettable stay. Electricity, lighting, log-burners, fridges.
Yurts & Bell Tent
The Yurts have a really lovely vibe, and feel much bigger on the inside than they look, with plenty of height too. Younger kids love these as they get to ‘camp out’ with you in the same room; two single futon beds can be folded out at bedtime. Electricity, lighting, log-burners (not in Bell Tent), fridges. The beautiful Bell Tent sleeps 4-6, available in Summer only.

Comfort and Facilities
Everyone will be happy, even if they are not normally ‘campers’. The Safari Tents and Yurts provide such a cosy living space with the comfiest beds and duvets! The lovely washrooms have underfloor heating too, so there’s no roughing it, many people say they’re nicer than their bathrooms at home!
Kitchen Barn
There is a covered kitchen barn overlooking the kayaking lake, a lovely spot for your morning coffee! All the cookware, crockery, mugs and utensils are provided for you to cook up a breakfast treat for everyone. There’s also packs of teas & coffees, salt & pepper, cooking oil and a few other essentials.

A superb short family stay
A wonderful stay at spring half term with our two older children. We hired a kayak and slept in the lovely comfortable beds. The showers were hot and super clean, and the kitchen area made food prep very easy as we cooked on the first night. Everything that you need is here and very close to your tent. No noise aside from animals and plenty of things to do in the area. Burton Agnes Hall was very special if you like picnics and flowers. We will certainly be returning next year and have friends already interested in booking.

When you’re ready for a break from kayaking, there are various walks/cycle routes you can take from the site, we provide some maps in reception and can advise you if you have any questions, we like to walk to Bert’s for food!…
