How to find us
Follow postcode YO25 8NA on Hempholme Lane (single track country lane at some points) but don’t go as far as that postcode wants to take you.
You will see our entrance on your left hand-side, drive into the car park and one of our team will meet you there. If the gate is closed just open it, drive through and close it again behind you.
Not coming by car? Whilst it is a rural area where we are, with no public transport passing by, it is possible to arrive by train to Beverley and take a 15-20 minute taxi ride to us (or bus to Brandesburton) and enjoy being ‘stranded’ at your lakeside hideaway!
You can walk along a handy bridlepath/farm track from the site to Brandesburton village (takes around 30mins) for food shops, bakery, pubs, restaurants & takeaways during your stay.
On your doorstep
When you’re ready for a break from kayaking, there are various walks/cycle routes you can take from the site, we provide some maps in reception and can advise you if you have any questions, we like to walk to Bert’s for food!…

The nearby villages of Brandesburton and Leven have numerous options for pub grub, convenience stores, butchers, delis, a fantastic lakeside restaurant called Bert’s and a handful of takeaways.
